Privacy

TaxMetria is designed to keep your financial inputs private. This page describes exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how to exercise your choices.

What we do not collect

  • Salary inputs. The calculator runs in your browser. The number you type is not sent to our servers, to analytics, or to any third party.
  • Exact calculation results. The breakdown shown is rendered client-side.
  • Cross-site tracking identifiers. We do not embed third-party trackers, ads, or analytics pixels on the calculator pages.

What we do collect

  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records basic request metadata (URL, status, user-agent, IP for rate-limiting and abuse prevention). Logs are retained for security and debugging purposes only.
  • Aggregated, anonymized page views. If analytics are enabled, they are server-side and aggregate-only. See the build manifest for the current setting.
  • Optional localStorage. If you check "Remember on this device", we store your last gross income and jurisdiction in your own browser. It is never sent to our servers.

Your choices

  • Clear your browser's localStorage to wipe the optional remember-setting.
  • Use a private browsing window — the calculator functions normally without cookies.
  • Block server-side tracking by using a VPN or Tor; the calculator does not require identification.

Corrections and contact submissions

If you submit a correction or contact form, we retain the message and your email address to respond. We do not share it with third parties. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@taxmetria.com.
